Instructions

In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring milk to a boil. And then, stir in the oats and salt. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the oats are tender and creamy which is around 5 minutes.

Once you are pleased with the consistency, serve the oatmeal in a bowl topped with banana, walnuts, chocolate chips, sprinkles, and the cherry. 

Crispy Avocado Egg Toast

If you love avocado, then you will surely love it on an egg with toast since it’s a good source of healthy fat for breakfast.

Ingredients

Prepare 5 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 large eggs, 2 sliced bread, 1 avocado, chopped cilantro, 2 teaspoons of lime juice, and  ⅛ teaspoon of salt.

Instructions

In a nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil on medium-high until it becomes very hot. Carefully add eggs as the oil will sputter and cook until whites are golden brown and crisp around the edges. 

If the edges are dark but whites are not set, remove skillet from heat and cover for 10 seconds or until whites are cooked. Then, season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Toast your bread until it becomes crusty and mash an avocado in a small bowl with a fork. Next, add cilantro, lime, salt, and pepper. Lastly, spread the mixture on the toasted slice of bread with the egg and serve.

Breakfast Burritos

Loaded with the best blend of ingredients, breakfast burritos are crisp on the outside and filled with tender scrambled eggs, and plenty of melty cheese. 

Ingredients

Ready ½ pounds of tomatillos (husked, rinsed, and halved), 1 jalapeño (halved and seeded), ½ small onion, 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, ⅓ cup of packed cilantro, kosher salt, 6 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 cup fat-free beans, and 4 tortillas. 

Instructions

Arrange oven rack 6 inches from the boiler and heat it afterward. Then, arrange tomatillos and jalapeño. You then want to slice down the onion and broil until blistered for 11 to 13 minutes. Next, let vegetables cool and transfer them to the food processor.

Add lime juice, cilantro, ¼ teaspoon salt, and pulse to combine. Once it is done, beat eggs with 1 tablespoon water and ¼ teaspoon salt. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add eggs and then directly cook while stirring with a spatula for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, fold in ½ cup cheese.

After that, spread ¼ cup of beans on each tortilla and divide eggs and cheese on top. Spoon around 2 to 3 tablespoons of salsa , then fold the sides over filling and roll it. Make it crisp on both sides and serve with remaining salsa.

Egg and Cheese Sandwich

With egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast, it feels like a celebration already. You will find it irresistible with its loaded cheesy flavors, crunchy whole wheat bread, and nutritious egg filling.

Ingredients

Make sure to have 4 large eggs, kosher salt, and pepper, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 2 ounces of cheddar cheese (coarsely grated), 4 slices whole wheat bread, 2 cups of baby spinach, and 4 thin slices of ham (optional).

Instructions

In a bowl, beat the eggs with 1 table of water with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet on medium heat. Then, add eggs and cook, stirring with a spatula every 20 to 30 seconds for 2 to 3 minutes.

Put another non-stick pan on medium flame and transfer the whole wheat bread until warm and add the mixture. Don’t forget the cheese, spinach, and ham (optional) before you sandwich the remaining bread top.
